College Admissions Seminar

Advice from a professional about successfully applying to college.

It’s getting harder and harder to get into a good school. For the last few years, the budget cuts, combined with a record number of applicants, have made it exceedingly difficult and unpredictable to get into a good university. We will give you our honest advice on what you should and shouldn’t do to improve your chances of getting into college.

Have you ever wondered any of the following?

• What’s more important–my GPA or my SAT score?
• Should I volunteer? How many hours should
I have?
• What are some other things that the admissions
committees look for?
• I go to Lowell and have a 3.7 GPA. My friend goes to George Washington and also has a 3.7 GPA. Who has the better chance of getting into UC Berkeley?

If you’re going into 9th or 10th grade, this workshop will be very important for you to attend. We will tell you what the universities are looking for. If you’re a rising senior, be sure to attend this workshop so that we can tell you specifically what to do and what not to do.
